* The Status Match Challenge (the “Offer”) is only available to WestJet Rewards members invited by select corporations who book through their corporate booking channel and travel within the timelines specified on the eligible routes and eligible published fares. To qualify for this offer, you must be an individual member of WestJet Rewards and must not already hold the same or higher tier status in the WestJet Rewards program as the one you are requesting. You must also submit your proof of status and be approved for the offer prior to travel.  

• Get the flight benefits of Silver, Gold or Platinum until December 31, 2026 when you complete both challenges of the Status Match Challenge. 

• Challenge 1: Submit proof of top-tier status with another Canadian airline frequent flyer program to statusmatch@westjet.com between  January 12 and February 12, 2026 to receive Silver, Gold or Platinum benefits, as applicable, with WestJet Rewards until May 31, 2026. 

• Challenge 2: Extend that status for all of 2026 by achieving approximately a third of the annual Tier Qualifying Spend amount normally required to retain status through the purchase of eligible base fares on WestJet-marketed and operated flights booked between date of upgrade and May 31, 2024 and (the “Booking Period”) flown between date of upgrade and May 31, 2026 (the “Travel Period”): 

• Individual members upgraded to Silver will be required to achieve $1350 in Tier Qualifying Spend from WestJet-marketed flights flown during the Travel Period. 

• Individual members upgraded to Gold will be required to achieve $2000 in Tier Qualifying Spend from WestJet-marketed flights flown during the Travel Period. 

• Individual members upgraded to Platinum will be required to achieve $3350 in Tier Qualifying Spend from WestJet-marketed flights flown during the Travel Period. 

• Offer is valid on new bookings for travel completed within the Travel Period. The member’s 9-digit WestJet Rewards ID must be included on all reservations prior to travel. 

• Tier Qualifying Spend required for Challenge 2 of the Offer must be achieved through the purchase of published base fares, carrier surcharges, seat selection, checked bags and cabin upgrades for WestJet-marketed and operated flights flown—which is any flight with a WS carrier code preceding the flight number and operated by WestJet or WestJet Encore—and normally eligible for Tier Qualifying Spend pursuant to the Reward Program Rules. UltraBasic fares, Member Exclusive fares, contracted fares, tour operator fares, taxes, and any portion of the base fare paid with WestJet points are not eligible for Tier Qualifying Spend, nor for this Offer. Tier Qualifying Spend amounts earned through the purchase of WestJet Vacations individual package bookings, or through Status Lift (a benefit of the WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard), are also not eligible toward this Offer, regardless of whether they are normally eligible for Tier Qualifying Spend. 

• Top-tier status with another Canadian airline frequent flyer program is defined as having current top-tier membership with an airline that offers a tiered frequent flyer program and awards status and benefits based on achievement of minimum spend, mileage or number of segments flown. Top-tier status must be valid with the airline until at least December 31, 2026. Basic membership in a frequent flyer program is not considered eligible, nor is membership in a program that does not have multiple tiers or levels. Top-tier status must be granted by the airline itself; status granted by an alliance partner is not considered eligible. Status with loyalty credit cards and/or coalition programs (e.g.: Marriott Bonvoy or AIR MILES) are also not valid for this Offer.  

• The applicable WestJet Rewards status will be awarded based on providing proof of valid status with the other frequent flyer program, as listed in Table A below:  

• VIPorter Passport is not eligible to participate in the Offer. 

• All required information must be provided to statusmatch@westjet.com, or the submission will be deemed to be incomplete. Your submission cannot be processed until a legible copy or photograph of your current top-tier status credentials with an eligible frequent flyer program have been provided. This may be a frequent flyer program member card, or screenshot of your status when signed into the frequent flyer program’s app, clearly showing your name, frequent flyer program name, current status and expiry date.  

• Once a request to participate has been received, the information will be verified by WestJet within 10 business days and, if this application is deemed to be complete, accurate and eligible, applicable Silver, Gold or Platinum flight benefits will be awarded.  

• WestJet in its sole discretion reserves the right to deny any submission that cannot be reasonably verified for any reason, including, without limitation, scanned copies submitted with incomplete, inaccurate or fraudulent information.  

• Platinum benefits comprised of 8% WestJet point earn, highest eligibility for complimentary upgrade to Premium and Business with eligible fares, early access to purchase an upgrade, unlimited airport lounge access, advance seat selection vouchers, first, second and third checked bags free, no fee for same-day flight changes, priority security screening at select airports, priority support number, priority check-in, priority baggage and priority boarding will be award to the member immediately after achieving Platinum status and noted in the member’s WestJet Rewards account. 

• Gold benefits comprised of 5% WestJet point earn rate, higher eligibility for complimentary upgrade to Premium and Business with eligible fares, early access to purchase an upgrade, unlimited airport lounge access, advance seat selection vouchers, first and second checked bags free, no fee for same-day flight changes, priority security screening at select airports, priority support number, priority check-in, priority baggage and Zone 2 boarding will be awarded to the member immediately after achieving Gold status and noted in the member’s WestJet Rewards account.  

• Silver benefits comprised of 3% WestJet points earn rate, eligibility for complimentary upgrade to Premium and Business with eligible fares, airport lounge access, advance seat selection vouchers, first and second checked bags free, priority check-in and Zone 2 boarding will be awarded to the member immediately after achieving Silver status and noted in the member’s WestJet Rewards account.  

• The eligible member’s flight benefits will be awarded on a promotional basis and will expire on May 31, 2026 unless the criteria to extend the promotional tier status until December 31, 2026 are met. If the member does not meet the required Tier Qualifying Spend during the Travel Period, no status upgrade under the Offer will be awarded beyond May 31, 2026. 

• Status Match Challenge upgrades for 2026 will be noted in the member’s account as of February 27, 2026. 

• Platinum, Gold and Silver flight benefits have no cash value and are non-transferable. 

• Milestone awards are excluded from this Offer. The ability for any member to receive Milestone awards, such as companion vouchers, is directly correlated to a member’s Milestone Qualifying Spend at any point in time and will not change as a result of a member achieving Platinum, Gold or Silver status through any means, including this Offer. Milestone awards will be awarded in step with the normal Milestone Qualifying Spend amounts pursuant to the Reward Program Rules.  

• Platinum, Gold and Silver flight benefits will be issued one time only during a member’s qualifying year, either through regular program activity or through a promotional means such as this Offer. Members may not receive Platinum, Gold and Silver flight benefits through multiple promotions.  

• Flight benefits awarded on a promotional basis, including through this Offer, have shorter validity periods than flight benefits awarded to a member as a result of regular program activity (e.g., achieving $4,000, 6,000 or $10,000 in Tier Qualifying Spend on WestJet-marketed flights flown within a qualifying year for status for the following calendar year). 

• WestJet Rewards members who hold current Platinum, Gold or Silver status at the time of this Offer are not eligible to extend the same tier through this Offer.   

• Full redemption flights are not eligible for Tier Qualifying Spend, therefore do not count towards this Offer. 

• Please ensure that all contact information is up to date on your WestJet Rewards account, including your mailing address, e-mail address and phone number(s). 

• The Offer may not be combined or used in conjunction with any other offer. 

• Offer is subject to change without notice.
